1970s...We were then in our prime youth. We were the center of activities in Baloi. No activities then without us spearheading! Baloi then was so full of life! I can remember the time when we were strafed by a speeding military truck full of soldiers. We ran to to seek cover at the nearby house of then Mayor Shiek Bzar Daud Ali. Why were we there at the roadside? Because we had a gardening project even if it was during the raging years of martial law. That's only to tell you the Baloi youth…See More
